Pedro Pascal might be Reed Richards

This is a big week for Super Hero Movie fans! Pedro Pascal, the maestro of intergalactic realms, might be adding Marvel’s Fantastic Four to his conquest list. (Attention, we highlighted the might word) But why not? After triumphing in Game of Thrones, Star Wars, and The Last of Us, Pascal’s potential move to play Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) is like the cherry on top of the nerd sundae. Rumor has it he’s in talks, though schedules clash (busy saving the galaxy and all). But hey, when you’re the Mandalorian, a Marvel-ous offer might just be another day at the office.

The story first broke out at Deadline. Marvel, being its secretive self, hasn’t spilled the cosmic beans yet. Plans for a new Fantastic Four movie were announced in 2020, with Matt Shakman of WandaVision fame directing. Reed, the brainy and slightly arrogant elastic guy, might stretch into Pascal’s capable hands. Previously played by Ioan Gruffudd and Miles Teller, Pascal’s Mr. Fantastic could be the elastic hero we didn’t know we needed.

Marvel Studios’ bigwig, Kevin Feige, envisions the Fantastic Four as an MCU cornerstone, echoing their legendary comic status. As Feige puts it, “Fantastic Four is the foundation for everything that came after.” Excitement’s building faster than Reed’s stretching ability. And yes, the movie’s set for May 2, 2025. Casting for Sue, Johnny, and Ben? Well, dear fans, the Marvel curtain is still firmly drawn. Let the cosmic anticipation begin! 🚀🌌 #PedroFantasticFourHellYes
