Nobel Prize Awarded to Covid Vaccine Pioneers

What a shitty way to start a new decade… Ok, it started in 2019, which make’s it the decade before this, but we are of course referring to the start of the pandemic, the March of 2020…

Looking back to those days, we are relived to be alive (majority of us). Back then an unknown virus was threating our own existence, spreading like, well, air… Masks, anti-masks, vaccines & anti-vaccines… What a crappy situation. After the vaccine, the war in Ukraine started. Let’s just hope there is no financial crisis around the corner, because that would make this decade one of the crappiest of the modern era.

Anyway, the inventors of the anti Covid-vaccine with the mRMA technology were presented with a Nobel prize in STOCKHOLM, Oct 2. 2023, awarded to Katalin Karikó and Drew Weissman. Their work was recognized as one that led to the development of vaccines that were administered to billions around the world. Maybe we ow them a big thank you. (No sarcasm here)
