Most of us know how and why it started: Writers began the strike on May 2nd 2023, demanding higher royalties, mandatory staffing of TV writing rooms and safeguards to their jobs from the use of artificial intelligence (AI). Another demand was for residual payments when a show becomes a hit. So, normal stuff.

It’s a pity nobody told them we don’t have an AI. We have a LLM (Learning Language Model) but not an AI, and fortunately or not, we are way to far from being capable of building an AI during the next 100 years maybe. Anyway, back to “the shows”
