At the 2024 Grammys, Taylor Swift creates history by winning the Best Album award.

Taylor Swift was the star of the show at this year’s Grammy Awards, making history as the first artist to win Album of the Year four times.

Taylor Swift, the perennial Grammy darling, once again stole the spotlight at this year’s awards, securing her place as the first performer to win Album of the Year four times. Because, you know, winning just once or twice would be way too ordinary.

Celine Dion made a surprise appearance, looking like she just casually dropped by the Grammys after being away for almost a year due to a rare neurological disorder. But hey, who needs rehearsal when you’re Celine Dion?

Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish also had their moments, with Eilish’s Barbie soundtrack contribution triumphing over Swift’s Anti-Hero for Song of the Year. It’s not like Taylor has enough Grammy trophies to fill a room or anything. Miley, in her Grammy debut, managed to snag Best Pop Vocal Performance, prompting her to declare, “I just won my first Grammy!” because winning awards is such a novel experience for her.

SZA led the nominations and walked away with three awards, including Best R&B Song, all while reenacting a Kill Bill fight scene on stage. Because nothing says R&B like a phalanx of sword-wielding female dancers dispatching men in suits.

Dua Lipa kicked off the ceremony with an “athletic medley” that probably left everyone wondering if they accidentally tuned into the Olympics. After all, what’s a music awards show without some physical exertion?

Legends Tracy Chapman and Joni Mitchell made rare appearances, overshadowing the younger stars. Mitchell, at 80, gave a spine-tingling performance – her first Grammy appearance – as if to remind everyone that timeless talent doesn’t age.

In the midst of it all, Kylie Minogue won her second-ever Grammy, two decades after her first. Because nothing says cutting-edge like an artist winning a Grammy for a “viral smash” that was popular last summer. Oh, and a TikTok dance craze? Groundbreaking.
